Texture Paint between materials 🖌

In just 3 clicks you can paint between materials! This is one of the gems featured in Extreme PBR. Nexus system is very simple: Add Modules and mix them with the texture paint. Powerful control of Texture Paint between material modules!

Car Paint

The Car Paint Material in Extreme PBR Nexus, has been improved a lot, is now really realistic. You can go from simple paint to metallic paint, complete with metallic flakes, just like in reality.

Realtime Animated Water💧

Blend Materials Along the Z-Axis

The subsurface (SSS) simulates the penetration into objects, such as plastic, rubber, human skin. This is now always ready to use in all textures based Extreme PBR materials

Surface Imperfections:

With the Fx Layers system, imperfect surfaces are always ready for use. Here are some scratches and fingerprints

Mix materials with any black and white mask

With the new Fx Layer system, it is very easy to mix materials in your black and white image

Making Bake easy, to be ready for the export of painted material to UE and other 3D Engine

Once you have painted your object you can easily Bake it and export it to UnrealEngine or even other 3D engines

Simple manipulation of the uv map:

The Mapping Menu, allows you to manipulate UV, Scale, Rotation and Slide maps on the X-Y (UV) axes on the fly. This is very useful for those who do architecture and interior design. We know how important it is to work visually.

Shader Overlay 

Since Extreme PBR 4.0.200 it is possible to mix all the materials in the scene with the new “Shader Overlay” system, this allows to apply to all the selected objects a material of your choice, therefore you can create an animatable Gradient effect between the chosen material and those of objects. You can also use “Invisible” material from the Extreme PBR library to create “Cut Plane” animations.

Material Override Cycles/Eevee

The Material Override works in both Cycles and Eevee, allowing for selective material overrides. You can easily choose which materials to replace or keep intact for specific items. You can use any material in the scene as an Override, and any material from the Extreme PBR library. Simply select the objects you want to override.

More than 1800 Materials included

All materials are well categorized in Libraries / Categories with tags and an easy to use search system.

Make Asset Browser

Since Extreme PBR version 4.1.100 it is possible to create the asset browser directly on the Extreme PBR library. This allows you to have the materials also in Blender’s asset browser

Texture Manager

Through the Texture Manager you can access the approximately 9,000 textures for each resolution present in the Extreme PBR library, you can then change them or modify colour/saturation/exposure etc… or import your textures directly. As you can see there is also a Texture Browser that allows you to search for all the textures in the library for each material.

New and professional documentation

I insert in each section of Extreme PBR Nexus, direct links to the documentation, this makes it much easier to learn the features, just click on the icons (?) to open the online documentation. Many buttons have been written so that when you right click on them, a button for the link to the documentation appears. The documentation has been rewritten from scratch, is much more complete and well structured than before and is constantly evolving.

You decide which version you want:

  • Up To ½k (Library size 1Gb Approx.)  – Extreme PBR Nexus + Default Library (1800+ Materials to ½k 512px). 2 exapack files
  • Up To 1k (Library size 5Gb Approx.)  – Extreme PBR Nexus + Default Library (1800+ Materials to 1k 1024px)  3 exapack files
  • Up to 2k (Library size 18Gb Approx.) – Extreme PBR Nexus + Default Library (1800+ Materials to 2k 2048) 7 exapack files
  • Up to 4k (Library size 61Gb Approx.) – Extreme PBR Nexus + Default Library (1800+ Materials to 4k 1024px) 18 exapack files
  • Pro Pack (Library size 185Gb Approx.) – Extreme PBR Nexus + Default Library (1800+ Materials to ½k, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k)  49 exapack files

If you choose the version that costs less, and you decide to upgrade to the one that costs more, you will only pay the difference

The core of Extreme PBR Nexus is the same in all versions!

If you have a video card with less than 4GB of RAM, I do not recommend choose the 8k version, because the render with GPU will probably exceed the VRAM making a black screen.

If you have space problems on the disk, you might consider the 8K version, it is a good resolution and occupies only 185 Gb of space+/-

Here’s which versions of Blender Extreme PBR Nexus works

Extreme PBR Nexus (That is, the 4.1 version of Extreme PBR) Work on Blender 3.2 and up, Suggested to have at least version 3.3 LTS, or better yet 3.6 or Up In addition, be careful, Extreme PBR has been tested on the official versions of Blender, that is, those you can download for free from the website https://www.blender.org/ This addon is compatible with Cycles and Eevee, other render engines that do not use the official Blender nodes will not work.

This is only a test

You can install the addon on as many computers as you want, the license is used to install the libraries. So you will only have to move the license to another computer if you need to install it on another computer. Once the addon is installed, you may not even have the active license, it will work correctly. The license is for installation-upgrade only. So don't worry, you can install the addon on your computers.

To activate the license on another computer, below you will find the address to reset the license, then click on Reset License (To do this you must be logged in on extreme-addons) https://extreme-addons.com/my-account/ea-license/

If you have the Nexus version, you can update the addon directly in Blender. (Options -> Updates (Tab Menu) -> Update Core (The addon will auto update)

If you come from an older version than Nexus, for example: Extreme PBR Combo-Evo, you will only have to go to the marketplace where you bought it, access your orders download the new version, you will also find a PDF, so go to the useful links you find in that PDF. It's all explained step by step
